Congleton Food and Drink Festival

About

Celebrating a 15 year history!

The Congleton Food and Drink Festival has been a vibrant celebration of culinary delights and community spirit since its inception. Held annually in the heart of Congleton, Cheshire, this festival transforms the town centre into a bustling hub of gastronomic excitement.

Our Origins

Established over 14 years ago, the festival was conceived to showcase the rich tapestry of local food producers, artisans, and global cuisines. From its modest beginnings, it has flourished into a cornerstone event, drawing visitors from near and far to experience the diverse flavours and cultural heritage of the region.

This flagship event, previously organised by Congleton Community Projects under the leadership of Jo Money, has been a staple of the town’s cultural scene for the past 15 years. The town council extends its heartfelt thanks to Jo and her team for their dedication in making the festival a resounding success.

Congleton Town Council has taken over the organisation of the event, with Rachel McCarthy, Town Centre and Events Officer at the helm.
